Angela & Penny’s HOLIDAY
Kids' Entertainment available for hire, based in Victoria
Ever been nipped on the toes and nose by a crab? Ever put your hat on your elbow instead of your head? Or played tennis on a boogie board? Well there’s all this and more in HOLIDAY, a witty and humorous show for younger children between the ages of 3 to 8.
From the moment the hot pink Mini and caravan appear magically on stage HOLIDAY invites the children to participate in all the experiences of an Australian summer holiday.
As parents, ex-Play School veteran, Angela Moore, and ex-Castanet Club, Penny Biggins, felt that there was room for a new kind of presenter - middle-aged mothers. The two actors/comics have created ANGELA
& PENNY'S HOLIDAY, a 40-minute live show for young children and their parents.
The show is filled with bright up tempo songs, all with a summer holiday feel. The children will be familiar with several tunes such as “Do You Put Your Hat On Your Head?” and “Oombah Baroombah”. They will also be invited to sing along to delightful original tunes “Nippy Nippy” and “Water Baby Boogie”. There is a short story and numerous opportunities for audience participation.
2006 saw the release of the successful Angela and Penny HOLIDAY CD which features all your favourite songs from the stage show. The CD is distributed through ABC Music publishing and is available in all ABC shops.
