With over 9 years experience and over 1000 spectacular fire shows performed at many of Melbourne and Australia’s top events and venues, FireWorks has gained a reputation not only for their high energy, high impact feature fire shows and roving entertainment acts, but also their attention to production and especially safety.

The FireWorks Shows:
Pyrorhythmic - This old favourite has an energy all of its own thanks to the driving African beats. A standard in their repertoire, a Pyrorhythmic show usually contains 6 core members - three African drummers and three fire artists (all of whom use fire individually). This is the most dynamic show of its kind with amazing fiery staging and some of the most dangerous fire acts currently on stage.
Warning! Playing with fire may be addictive- A new and exciting development to come out of FireWorks recently with a decidedly cutting edge look and sound. It captures the sights and sounds of today, combining electronic samples and beats with an amazing ‘Cyber’ look to the show.
The Secret Cabaret- An eclectic selection of characters from the FireWorks family that is full of sensual dance, edgy circus, crazy side show and mischievous shenanigans. The Secret Cabaret has set a trend in this genre for the last 5 years and has played to great acclaim at recent Melbourne Fringe Festivals and at The Famous Spiegeltent.
Solo and duo fire shows- FireWorks also has a number of solo and duo fire shows to suit any event. From Fire belly dance to fire eating and fire breathing shows, all the fire arts are covered and are perfect for smaller events. And for something different there are the Angle grinding and Bed of Nails shows which are sure to turn heads.
Roving entertainment- Add that something special to your next event with some of the FireWorks roving entertainers. Acts such as Snake charmers, Fire eaters and breathers, Belly dancers, Percussionists, Fortune tellers and contortionists are available and bring, style, colour and movement to any event.
Moulin Rouge Fire- Let the windmill wings of the Moulin Rouge embrace you in this fire show with a sexy twist. Zefirah, your femme fatale at the helm steers you through the delights of Parisian Cabaret dance combined with dangerous fire-eating techniques and fire poi (ahem…or “fire whips” if your venue has got the space). This cheeky show is fully clothed with a burlesque feel and Zefirah runs the fire over different parts of her body. Ooh la la. The show includes some audience participation and clients can nominate audience members to receive special attention. Sacré bleu!
Fire Wall- The Fire Wall is a unique, free standing, real fire, theatrical effect that re-creates a fire front in complete safety. Flexible in use and application, the Fire Wall can be used as a stage prop or special effect. Some applications are as an on-stage perimeter effect, event entrance feature or film and TV set effect. Some features of the Fire Wall include availability of natural or coloured flames, 25 metres long and can climb stairs, geometric shapes and patterns are possible, speedy assembly and disassembly and a 3 to 7 minute burn time that can be re-created over and over again. Although primarily an outdoor effect, Fire Wall is safe to use in some indoor environments with adequate ventilation. If looking for a feature effect to add something special to an event, the Fire Wall is the perfect way to leave a burning impression.
Bollywood Fire- Bollywood dance is a fusion of all dance genres. From Classical Indian dance, Indian Folk, belly dancing, jazz, hip hop, funk and every other style of dance imaginable! It’s been made popular by films like Slum dog Millionaire and Bride and Prejudice. It’s an energetic and upbeat dance that tells stories of celebration, love and seduction and there is no limit to the fun or cheesiness. Zefirah performs this colourful, larger than life dance style with fire eating, fire fakir and double stave wands. The audience is taken not only a unique cultural experience, but also one of awe and amazement as Zefirah handles, licks, eats and spins the fire. The end of the show includes hilarious audience participation where you get a chance to learn the moves and rip up the dance floor!
In-house pyrotechnic services- The FireWorks crew now contains a number of fully qualified and licensed pyrotechnicians which can be used in a variety of ways. Firstly all fire shows (or any of our shows for that matter) can now have theatrical pyrotechnics such as flame projectors, fountain showers, mine bursts, etc. added to them for a visual experience like no other. Infact fire shows like 'Pyrorhythmic' and 'Erebus' both have pyrotechnic versions available that are fully choreographed and integrated into a show verging on a rock concert stage spectacular. Secondly, the FireWorks pyrotechnicians can offer stage and film pyrotechnic effects such as fire arms effects, explosions, burning effects, etc. and consultancy services for tour shows and filming locations. Finally, there is the good old sky show fireworks display which with a FireWorks twist, have a colour and spectacle that certainly leaves a lasting impression.
