Songwriter, singer, comedian and prominent radio personality, Greg Champion captures what it is to be Australian through his unique combination of comedy, sports parodies and country/folk music.

Greg Champion is a prominent radio personality and corporate/community entertainer, recognised in Australia and abroad for his unique blend of comedy, sport parodies and country/folk music.

Champs began his career in corporate and community events around 1990. Greg has since performed at such prominent events as 3 AFL Grand Finals, 2 Adelaide Grand Finals, and 2 One-Day Cricket Finals, and at countless functions at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). His national & international commitments have taken him as far as New Zealand, Nashville, France and Fiji and his passion for everything Australiana has led to performances in Weipa, French Island, Keppel Island, Katherine, Ceduna, Broken Hill, and elsewhere.

Champs is committed to contributing to key community causes and events, involving such areas as being Life member of the Aust Tibet Council and a long time member of ACF, Greenpeace, Environment Victoria. Greg is now also an Ambassador for the White Ribbon Foundation, Australia. As a radio personality Champs has been a member of the Coodabeen Champions since 1983, a radio team which has become an institution on commercial and ABC radio. As a public figure Champs in invited to compere/host a number of key charity and community events each year.

Champs has extended his work into the field of songwriting and writing, having published two books on the Thoughts Of Guru Bob [Penguin/ABC], two Christmas songbooks with Colin Buchanan [Scholastic] and, with his radio team, two Coodabeen Champions humour books on Penguin
