James Kerley has a potent mix of talent and charisma that has allowed him to have an incredibly successful and diverse career in both radio and television. Kerley co-hosts Nova’s National nights 7 – 10pm weekdays and is the host of Channel [V]’s hugely popular music trivia gameshow ‘Cash Cab’. Kerley is soon to return to commercial Television hosting Seven’s new series ‘Australia Smashes Guinness World Records’.

James began his career as co-host of the popular ‘Sarvo’ show on Nickelodeon (Foxtel). His strong MC’ing skills and natural comedic style has seen him co-host the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards twice and as guest presenter at the 2008 Aria Awards. Proving to be a popular and charismatic presenter, Kerley landed a role on Australia‘s premier music channel, Channel [V] (Foxtel). There he interviewed a number of international stars and names Silverchair, The Prodigy, Fergie and Jessica Alba as some of his most memorable.

While at Channel [V] Kerley also co-hosted and co-wrote the hilarious ‘Dave and Kerley show’, highlighting his comic acting, writing and development abilities. Steadily becoming a popular face of youth culture, in 2007 & 2008 he hit the road with the ‘Big Day Out’ five city tour presenting a series of pre-recorded and love shows interviewing band and punters and all things rock ‘n roll.

More recently Kerley hosted Network Ten's daily entertainment program, ‘Taken Out’; hosted behind the scenes Rockumentary series ‘Hanging With’ and created, named, developed and presented the music travel program “B430” in conjunction with Channel [V].

As a talented writer, Kerley has written for Cleo magazine in addition to regular articles in various Australian music publications. He also won appeal as a finalist in Cleo Bachelor of the Year 2008, winning Best Campaign.

James’ cheeky style ensures that he is in high demand as a MC and popular on the red carpet. Not as well known for his acting, he has also appeared in a number of TV series, commercials and short films.
