Julia Madotti - just one of a handful of female magicians in Australia brings a fresh and non-traditional approach to close up magic. Using playing cards & tarot cards, magical boxes and trinkets, a voodoo doll (and a few unexpected flames!) - Julia has delighted many corporate clients such as Microsoft, BHP and Sony. Julia has also been a regular close up magician at Star City Casino for several years. Initially a solo stage magician she began performing in Berlin in 1994 and went on to tour Taiwan with magician Sam Angelico. Later she performed in Japan and then in Hong Kong, which included a gala for CNBC during the 1997 handover. Julia still performs live for select venues including Sydney Town Hall and a recent fashion parade at The Sydney Opera House. Last year Julia joined Kush Cabaret (pictured) a zany vaudevillian show with music and performance that has dazzled venues such as Sydney’s The Basement

A new show from Julia Madotti inspired from her performing days in Berlin. In the style of German variety theatre “ Little Wretch “ discovers a big box, eats a cake, cuts off her ponytail, performs card tricks, gets mad, dances and finds a new friend !
