Zebra crossing is a trio comprising Valanga Khosa, Leo Dale and Ray Pereira.

Their music ranges from quiet jazzy South African inspired music to more upbeat township dance music.

They can do two or three sets with the first being a more quiet mellow set followed by one or two sets of more uptempo music. They can also add a drummer and bass player to the line depending on the type of gig.

Valanga plays a variety of South African instruments including Kalimba (thumb piano), guitar and traditional drums and sings in seven different languages including English.

Leo plays flute, baritone sax, alto sax and percussion.

Ray can play a variety of African drums including talking drum.

The performances are interactive with the audience joining in a vocal call and response or clapping a rhythm during a drumming sequence.
