Michael has been in performing as a solo pianist/vocalist for many years and plays a wide cross section of music ranging from the 20’ though to the 80’s. Unless otherwise requested, he tends to mix and match his repertoire, switching between styles to suit the mood and occasion of your event. You may hear Almost Like Falling in Love a la Nat King Cole, then Your Song by Elton John followed by Viva Las Vegas in close succession. Michael has played in a multitude of bands with different musical influences, including Jazz, Afro, Cuban, Latin, Blues and Reggae, each expanding his repertoire and skill. He has also performed extensively as a theatrical roving performer, engaging crowds with both humour and sensitivity. Michael is a true performer, with the flexibility and intuition to cater to many different styles, tastes and situations. |
