Think of a rainy day in a cafe in Paris, hot sun on the roof of a gypsy wagon, old melodies played on the fiddle with arousing accordion on a Russian train journey. Accelerando are swirling soaring interlocking folk and dance melodies, vibrant foot stamping polkas, elegant plaintive valse musettes and fiery Klezmer tunes. This is music with a gypsy heart to be consumed with vodka and passion: authentic and evocative. This trio is flexible and able to suit any performance needs. They are a great stage band and also do a fantastic 'on the street' set. Their costumes help finish the European flavour and give a great edge to any event with their ability to appeal to a wide range of ages and cultures. |
