Tania de Jong AM performs a unique combination of opera, Broadway and song to enchant, inspire and entertain. You will be entranced by the voice, spirit and charisma of one of Australia's leading sopranos as she presents your favourite songs and melodies from opera to Broadway and pop and some all-time favourites with charm, warmth and a great sense of humour. Songs may include Time to Say Goodbye, O Mio Babbino Caro, Ave Maria, Amazing Grace, Summertime, My Heart Belongs to Daddy, Habanera from Carmen, La Vie en Rose, Love Changes Everything, Danny Boy, Vilia, Panis Angelicus, Laudate Dominum, The Flower Duet from Lakme and songs from Phantom of the Opera, Westside Story, Les Miserables....and many more! Tania has an enormous repertoire and frequently performs as a soloist with a range of ensembles and orchestras as well as duetting with some leading male and female singers.

She is the Founder of the internationally acclaimed group Pot-Pourri and Founding Director of Music Theatre Australia One Stop Entertainment. Tania is also the Founder of The Song Room charity which brings music and arts programs to disadvantaged children and communities. She was named Australian Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2006.

Tania de Jong AM is the inspiration, co-founder and artistic director of Pot-Pourri and of Music Theatre Australia (MTA) one stop entertainment consultancy and event production company. A graduate of the University of Melbourne (LL.B. Hons.), and the Victorian College of the Arts (Opera, Music Theatre and Voice), Tania is considered one of Australia’s most talented sopranos. She has performed with the Victoria State Opera and as a soloist with a number of orchestras. In 2006 Tania received the Ernst and Young Australian Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her work with The Song Room. The Song Room, a charity founded by Tania, has brought music and performing arts programs to over 140,000 disadvantaged children and communities throughout Australia. Tania’s other awards include the “Outstanding Individual Contribution to Australian Culture”, Churchill Fellowship and the Accessibility Award in The Melbourne Awards. She was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards and has recently been inducted into the AGSE Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame. Tania is on the Board of Child Abuse Research Australia. She was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in June 2008 for service to the arts as a performer and entrepreneur and through the establishment and development of music and arts enrichment programs for schools and communities.
