The Leaping Loonies present a relentless 30 minute celebration of classic Australian knockabout comedyacrobatics. Drawing on the great international traditions of popular physical performance and the silent movie era, The Leaping Loonies incorporate the many and varied disciplines of acrobatics. From tumbling, balancing, vaulting, teeter board and group acrobatics to the other circus/vaudeville skills such as juggling, clowning, unicycling, fire juggling and knockabout slapstick routines.
Topping the high skill level of their physical accomplishment is The Leaping Loonies' sense of fun and their uniquely Australian larrikinism. These hooligan acrobats make the rehearsed look accidental, the difficult seem easy, and provide an entertainment package that has universal appeal for a diverse audience, from the sophisticated corporate event to the outdoor festival.
