Since the early 90’s Rudi Mineur and Mark Sands have performed and taught circus skills throughout Australia and overseas, working individually and as members of various Circus organisations. 1999 saw these two talented performers combine to form “PopEyed”, a hand balancing act with a seriously comic bent. Ridiculously confident, confidently ridiculous, these masters of equilibrium will have you seesawing from gasps of amazement to belly aching laughter. In 2002, Popeyed travelled overseas to compete in, and win, the 11th Annual “Daidogei (Street Performance) World Cup” in Shizouka, Japan. Specialising in tailoring their act to the event, PopEyed have a number of adaptable routines to suit the occasion, including, comedy acrobatics, crowd/roaming acrobatics, and golden statue slow motion acrobatics. |
