'James Bustar' is performed by International Variety Performer, James Blaxall, a professionally trained circus artiste, physical comedian and World class juggler from the World renowned Flying Fruit Fly Circus. He is also a trained actor; having been taught by some of the industry's biggest names and has had the honour of performing as an extra beside Kate Winslet and Christopher Eccleston. He has taken the world by storm and made his mark with his unique mix of comedic manipulation and contortion with a hint of magic thrown in. He is also one of Australia's best technical Jugglers. He has performed all around the World, including for the Honourable Steve Bracks, John Landy and his wife in Melbourne, The Governor of Aichi, Japan, as part of Expo 2005, Mary Delahunty, Bob Carr, the Victorian Sports minister, and John Howard as well as many others including International celebrities and sports people. He is a regular and well known guest on many radio programs. He won the Applause Festival at Albury Wodonga in 2004 and 2005 and gained highly commended prizes at the Thredbo street festival, Applause festival 2003, and Nescafe big break. He was runner up in the Young Achiever in the Performing Arts awards sponsored by the Soroptimist Organisation. He has appeared on TV more than 25 times all around the world. In 2006 James was invited to MC the Sydney Juggling Convention, and was invited back to perform with the Flying Fruit Fly Circus in an international collaboration with the Zip Zap Circus from South Africa and the Brewarrina Circus ( Australia's leading aboriginal circus) at the Commonwealth games in Melbourne where they received rave reviews at the majority of their shows. As Radio personality, Steve Block, says "The Show is not only technically superb, he's a comic, he's a raconteur, he's pretty good!" |
