Sunshine grew up in Perth discovering Dance music & parties at age 14. Many hours on the dance floor soon turned into a strong ambition to take to the decks herself. In 1998 at age 16 she left home and moved to Melbourne to follow her passion. One year later she played her first gig at a small party in Port Melbourne. For the next two years she played at bars and side rooms of bigger parties, perfecting her eclectic style of Hip-Hop, Beats, Jazz, Funk & Soul. For the last two years she has been playing more towards the dance floor, adding House & Electro to her style.
Playing many different styles & sets each week, Sunshine is now capable of moving feet in any type of dance floor situation. Achievements
Sunshine did a JJJ "mix up" broadcasted live from Revolver. She has played at such clubs/parties as 33 1/3, The Lounge, Honkytonks, Kryal Castle, POW, Centriphugal etc. She has also played on the same bill as The Blackeyed Peas, LTJ Bukem, Ben Sims, James Lavelle, Anthony Rother just to name a few and has a Diploma in Sound Engineering studied at SAE. Sunshine currently holds residencies at Revolver, Cusion Lounge, The Metro, The Saint, Alia, Club Evolution, GPO, and rotating at Escobar. |
