Mad Mitch created quite a stir on the Melbourne nightclub circuit in 2006. While DJ percussionists in the past have consisted of 10 minute bongo sets in between beers, Mitch comes fully loaded with bongos, timbales, wood blocks, cowbells, and cymbals. Mitch capped off a stellar 2006 when he was asked to join the uber-coolsie Melbourne indie-disco-electro-punk-funk band the Dardanelles, who have been touring the Eastern states and recently signed with the hip Sydney label Mosquito’s Tweeter. |
