  Music Theatre Australia has emerged as one of the most sought after cultural organisations in Australia and now produces and creates over 300 performances each year to around 250,000 people in the public, government and corporate sectors, as well as managing a number of Australia's most talented artists, groups and companies. It has organised over 25 overseas tours through all major continents and numerous performances and tours throughout capital cities and regional Australia. MTA was formed out of the groundbreaking success of the sensational singing group Pot-Pourri in 1996. MTA has developed strong relationships with, and expert knowledge of, the work of many Australian artists, arts companies and expert suppliers, as well as unique success in the field of corporate entertainment.

MTA's founder and Artistic Director, Tania de Jong, was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Australian Culture award in 1997, a Churchill Fellowship, Queen's Trust Award and the Victorian Young Achievers Award. In 2001 she was named a Finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, and in 2006 was named Australian Social Entrepreneur of the Year. Other MTA team members have extensive experience in event and artist management, are passionate about great performances, and are dedicated to customised entertainment solutions and excellence in customer service. |
