As a singer, pianist and performer, Judith is recognised as an extremely diverse and adaptable musician. She is remarkably accomplished in a wide variety of music styles, including funk, disco, jazz, soul, old and new pop, Motown, hip-hop, rock and roll, and certain styles of Brazilian music. While she knows her repertoire inside out, Judith brings her own character and musical sensitivity to every song and style she sings truly making it her own.

Judith’s passion for all music is clearly visible in her ever growing repertoire and the exceptionally high standard that she consistently presents, whether performing as a soloist, with a jazz duo, trio, quartet, 3-8 piece funk band, Samba band, or even in tribute band settings.

Having started performing at venues around Melbourne at the age of 16, Judith began her professional career as a soloist: playing piano and singing, with several residencies at bars and cafes in St Kilda and the CBD.

Judith currently performs with many different groups – including funk and soul bands, jazz ensembles, and a number of original music projects – and manages several bands that she performs with. She has also started to produce her own music.

She names Stevie Wonder, Sarah Vaughan, Carole King, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Chaka Khan, The Beatles, Marvin Gaye and Antonio Carlos Jobim as among those who have greatly influenced her musical direction, her songwriting, repertoire choice and performance style.

Judith is available to perform solo or with almost any combination of instruments on request, and can specialise her performances by playing an entire show of Brazilian/bossa nova, or an entire show of soul/Motown, or jazz standards, or groove/hip-hop, or old pop, etc. She is always happy to learn songs not listed on her repertoire for functions including songs in Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian and Hebrew.
