They play the best of the classics with joy and passion. Themes that audiences know and love, and will leave the venue singing for days. Mozart, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Strauss, and so many others are brought to life in this intimate, vibrant setting.

Double bassist Jon Delaney has worked in the Melbourne music scene for 20 years, performing both locally and around the world in jazz and classical ensembles. Aside from his activities as a bass player, he is an internationally recognised guitarist in the gypsy jazz style of the great Django Reinhardt, having performed at the premiere Festival Django Reinhardt at Samois-sur-Seine in France and headlined Australia’s Ozmanouche festival numerous times both on guitar and double bass. His passion for Baroque and Classical music extends to a Masters thesis on the music of JS Bach, performances of chamber music, and concerts in the bass sections of many orchestras around Melbourne.

Violinist Esther Henderson, originally from Bellingen, and Clarinettist Brennan Hamilton-Smith, from Castlemaine, are two of the busiest names on the Melbourne music landscape.  Classically trained, both have branched out into traditional jazz styles, folk, ethnic music, and really everything in between. They can be heard almost every night of the week in the concert halls, bars, restaurants and cafes of our amazing city.  Both are band leaders and nationally and internationally touring musicians in their own right.  Between them they have performed at every venue of note around Australia, including Hamer Hall, the Melbourne Recital Centre, Sydney Opera House, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane Town Halls, prominent jazz clubs, and many major touring festivals in all states and territories.
