If you’ve found yourself dancing up a storm in a Melbourne club recently, and noticed the DJ is having just as good a time as you, chances are you’re sharing a moment with DJ Nadine.

Talented, spirited, passionate, sexy; Nadine has been causing a commotion on the dancefloor since starting her own weekly event in St Kilda in 2003. Instantly earning herself a devoted fanbase of dancefloor afficiarnado’s; Nadine's sound was fresh & funky from the get go. Having come from a musical family and developing a passion for dance music in her teen’s – Nadine’s prowess behind the decks came as second nature. Inspired by many years worth of ‘favourite tracks’; Nadine began DJ’ing from a desire to hear music on the dancefloor that was missing from Melbourne’s scene. Never wanting to simply reproduce what was ‘hot right now’, Nadine has positioned herself as a creative & original DJ who is consistently inventive; and loves to showcase a broad spectrum of styles & genres (sounds) in each and every set she plays.

The woman behind DJ Nadine, Nadine Makin, has just completed her third & final year in fashion studies and now works for a locally based designer label. Juggling music & fashion is a combination that works well for this creative individual who’s own style & flair glitters through everything she does. And when it comes to music, Nadine feels the love like no other... From the looks on the faces and shake of the asses on the dancefloor – she’s doing everything right.

In 2006 Future Entertainment endorsed Nadine’s talents when they chose her as winner of the Two Tribes guest DJ competition; which culminated a busy year playing around Melbourne- including residencies at Lounge, Revolver, Qbar, Vineyard, Onesixone & Escobar and a weekly show on Melbourne’s only electronic music radio station – Kiss FM.

The flavours you’re likely to sample in the Nadine smorgasbord include House (in many different flavours), Techno (minimal and thumping), Electro and Progressive, but you’ll never taste the same set twice. Whatever is up her sleeve; you’re sure to find a dancefloor crowded full of people.
