String Fever is a unique, upbeat double-act, comprising husband and wife duo Brenton Edgecombe and Jacqui Curiel. With a sense of fun and theatre inspired by master showman Liberace, the former orchestral musicians provide a fast-paced kaleidoscope of instrumentals, singing, and audience participation using the beautiful and versatile instruments that are their passion - the violin and cello.

The fully scored and choreographed show runs the gamut of musical styles. From Bluegrass to Broadway, Country to Classical to Contemporary - Latin, Jazz, Gypsy and a wide range of ethnic favourites. Brenton can pull off an uncanny impression of his childhood idol (and some say look-alike) Elton John, while Jacqui brings the house down with her blazing "stand-up-cello" solo in the Orange Blossom Special. And years of hard labour have gone into the unforgettable "instrument swapping" routine.
