Songwriter, singer, comedian and prominent radio personality, Greg Champion captures what it is to be Australian through his unique combination of comedy, sports parodies and country/folk music.

Greg Champion began his comedy career performing at famous Melbourne comedy venues The Last Laugh and Le Joke, in 1983. He has since played at diverse comedy locations across Australia including the Melbourne & Adelaide Comedy Festivals, the Spiegeltent and the Adelaide Fringe Festivals.

Songwriter, singer, comedian and prominent radio personality, Champs captures what it is to be Australian through his unique combination of comedy, sports parodies and country/folk music. As a member of the now legendary radio show the Coodabeen Champions, an institution on commercial and ABC radio over an amazing twenty-nine years, Champs continues developing and sharing his own particular brand of Aussie songs and quick-witted parodies to a devoted fan base.

Greg’s parody and comedy work, combined with his talent as a songwriter has generated such well-known tunes as I Made a 100 In The Backyard At Mum's, May you Fridge Be Full of Coldies, and the co-written Dont Call Wagga Wagga Wagga. Champs has collected several key awards and nominations for comedy songwriting including two awards in the comedy/novelty song category at the Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards, and two ARIA nominations for comedy releases. Greg has also had published four comedy books.

As a prominent Australian comedian and entertainer he is invited to perform at a variety of corporate functions, sports club shows, community run programmes and charity events.
