Samson is performed by the talented pair of Adam and Jessica Davis.

Adam:

Adam Davis, has recently finished a two year contract with Cirque Du Soleil performing poles and trampoline in Tokyo’s resident show, ‘Zed’.

In 2005 Adam graduated from NICA with a Bachelor of Circus Arts. In the two years between his work for Cirque du Soleil and finishing his degree, Adam performed around Australia for organizations that included Team Loko, Lexus, Sony, L’Oreal Fashion, Optus, Buena Vista and Pacific Brands Fashion. In this time Adam was also the Co-Owner of a flying trapeze company (High Flying Circus Arts) that taught flying trapeze to the Melbourne public.

At NICA, Adam trained in the arts of Chinese Poles, Flying Trapeze, Adagio, Banquin, Acrobatics and Juggling.

He first became an international performer prior to his attendance at NICA at the Singapore Arts Festival in 2002 performing Capoeira with Groupo Capoeira Brazil. It was Capoeira that inspired Adam to pursue a career in physical arts.

In the months after completing his contract with Cirque du Soleil Adam has been busy working with Stalker on their new show, “Shanghai Lady Killer” and has also performed with his wife, Jessica, (together known as Adica Arts Pty Ltd) for P&O Cruises.

Jessica:

Jessica began her Circus career at the WA Circus School in Fremantle, Western Australia. There, she performed as an assortment of characters both on stage and roving including for Lottery West, The Melbourne Cup, PICA and Cirque Bizirque before moving to Melbourne to specialise in Clown and Flying Trapeze at NICA (The National Institute of Circus Arts).

Over the next three years, she performed in their end of year show season’s 20’s05 and Divino and as an aerialist and pyro for The Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony. On her own time she performed as part of both duo and trio adagio groups for Oxfam, Working Horse Festival and Price Waterhouse Coopers and as a number of characters for Careflight, Matilda Bay Boat Club and various private functions.

After working as a videographer for Cirque Du Soleil in Japan for the past two years, Jessica is back in Australia and has been performing pole and adagio for P&O Cruises with her husband, together known as Adica Arts Pty Ltd.
