Terraplane have been singing the blues for more than 10 years and have established themselves as one of the most sought after acts in Tasmania. Their performance at The Taste of Tasmania in 2001 received rave reviews from locals, interstate and international visitors alike, and their reappearance at the Taste in 2002, did it all over again. Their performance at The Hard Rock Hotel in Bali 2001 was sensational, playing with "John March & The Circuitbreakers" (Los Angeles) to the highest acclaim.

Front-man Pat Tilley (California) fronts Terraplane, bringing a true International flavour to the band. His Vocals, with just a hint of that Californian accent, really push out the blues just the way it was supposed to be sung. Pat also plays a mean Blues Harmonica, Saxophone and Guitar. Add to this a rhythm section second to none, and Michael Davie, a Home-grown Tassie boy, who plays lead guitar as if he was born with it in his hand. – and you have Terraplane, a Blues Band of International standard, a pleasure to listen to.
